Conflict of interest
[edit]This page was copied from a previous article, the content hasn't been changed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rianlloyd (talk • contribs)
- The previous article was written by a "Christopher Lloyd", who is an Australian named Lloyd (relative?) just like the subject. Then it was copied here and modified by you, an account named RIanLloyd, with the same name as the article subject. The only people to substantially modify this article are Lloyds in Australia. That is the very definition of conflict of interest. Please limit your contributions per policy to articles dealing with yourself. You are not objective about yourself, it's human nature, and something avoidable. There are many other articles to be worked on and if you are notable others will work on an article pertaining to you. As for the originator of the article content (Christopher Lloyd), I'd also suggest there are other areas worth their attention given the likelihood that they are also in conflict for neutral point of view as a relative. On an unrelated note, you did not create this article correctly. By copying it to a new article it is now detached from its history making it difficult to see where the content originated from. The article should have been moved and not copied and pasted. ju66l3r (talk) 05:00, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
- No worries. Sorry about the move! Chris Lloyd (talk) 11:31, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
Clarification: The original article was "R. Ian Lloyd". -- Hoary (talk) 01:35, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
