Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra vis-à-vis Budapest Symphony Orchestra

From looking at the separate websites of the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra (Magyar Rádió Szimfonikus Zenekara) and the Budapest Symphony Orchestra, it is abundantly clear that the former is the much more accurate English-language name to use for the ensemble. The Budapest Symphony Orchestra is clearly focused on commercial work, like recording film soundtracks, with occasional rental concerts on request. By contrast, the Magyar Rádió Szimfonikus Zenekara clearly shows the principal remit of the orchestra as a resident ensemble for Hungarian Radio, and presentation on the international stage. Thus Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra is by far the much better English representation of the orchestra's name, on English Wikipedia. DJRafe (talk) 18:20, 9 July 2017 (UTC)

Merger proposal

I propose that the two articles on the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Budapest Symphony Orchestra be merged, under the single rubric of the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. The justification is that the Budapest Symphony Orchestra is clearly focused on commercial work, like recording film soundtracks, with occasional rental concerts on request. By contrast, the Magyar Rádió Szimfonikus Zenekara clearly shows the principal remit of the orchestra as a resident ensemble for Hungarian Radio, and presentation on the international stage. Thus Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, in my evaluation, is by far the much better English representation of the orchestra's name, and article site, on English Wikipedia. There is nothing to merge. There is no article entitled, "Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra". It's been explained to you on the talk page of the Budapest article the process you need to follow if you wish to rename that article. Onel5969 ^{TT me} 18:39, 17 September 2017 (UTC)
