Variants
[edit]WarWheels ( http://www.warwheels.net/BritishArmouredCarProductionFiguresArticleBROWN.html ) citing the "Half Yearly Reports on the Progress of the Royal Armoured Corps" : The Mark II will not incorporate the P.L.M. Mounting, since it has been necessary to delete this, the roof, and other items to counterbalance the increase in the weight of the additional Belly armour. On the other side, Forty only say the Mk II was heavier and had different transmission. Also, WarWheels article about the vehicle is called "Humber Scout Car Mark Ib" ( http://www.warwheels.net/humberscoutcarINDEX.html ). However, I was unable to find any information about variant called "Mk Ib". Can somebody clarify on variants and exact differences between them ? Bukvoed 10:37, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
