In persian book of kings(shahnameh) king kavous goes to fight with king of HAMAWARAN. he marries the daughter of this so called king . the name of this girl is SUDABEH or SUDAVEH which means either the lady of fresh waters or the temple of fresh waters the story goes on but the geographic location of HAMAWARAN is either syrea or lebanon you can find some simillarities between the two stories . remeber one thing in shahnameh the gods or changed to kings who live a long long time--24.148.92.213 16:01, 17 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Memory of Humbaba is preserved in popular modern Iraqi culture, which knows of a "bogeyman" named Habambo.

Good?

[edit]

How come he's listed as a "Good" deity / character, while the article clearly depicts him as an evil one? 93.86.229.57 (talk) 22:34, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Surname"

[edit]

Now, I don't know enough about Assyrian or Sumerian to verify, but surely "the terrible" is an epithet and not a surname, yes? Could someone with more knowledge correct it if appropriate? anthologetes (talkcontribs) 14:23, 17 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
