[edit]According to the Handbook of Texas entry on the Houston Post (see link on article page), the Hobby family/business sold the paper much later than 1983, so I deleted that bit of information.—Bellhalla 16:24, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
The Houston Post ceased publication circa 1995 or so; Houston today is a 1 newspaper town, serviced by the Houston Chronicle. (I knew a former Houston Post employee who was laid off but luckily hired on by the Houston Chronicle shortly thereafter). Article could use authoritative info on the Houston Post ceasing publication in the 1990s. -JJR
- I found the info about the ceasing of the publication. WhisperToMe (talk) 04:44, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
