Rumour has it that the wonderful Scottish village of Killin will be one of the sets for Hope Springs. Any confirmation of this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.183.136.193 (talk) 19:38, 12 April, 2008 (UTC)

So far the only confirmed places are Dumfries and Galloway. I'm not sure if Killin's in either of those places as my geography of my local area is bad enough, let alone Scotland! steveking89 22:01, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sweet! I can't wait for the show! --Wikinerd20 (talk) 22:03, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have just seen a trailer on the BBC HD channel and the village was Wanlockhead. I spent the first 16 years of my life living there!Doonhamerboy (talk) 15:57, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I seen them filming part of this at Quarriers Village last summer I think they filmed the inside parts there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.141.208.72 (talk) 20:04, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Going straight

[edit]

I've removed a couple of references to the characters "trying to go straight", as it's simply not the case. They are, agreed, often forced against their will to go straight, but the central idea of the series is that they are desperately trying to escape the UK with the proceeds of a crime. We've had Shoo unsuccessfully holding up a bookies, Josie working to obtain false passports, Ellie stealing Sadie's money – none of these are remotely "trying to go straight". 81.129.207.110 (talk) 12:24, 2 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think you'll find it is true - they are trying to go straight, hence TRYING. I've put back the refrences you removed because although you say think that is "simply not the case", it very much so is and has been mentioned various time by Hannah in the show. The BBC Press pack Shed Productions information pack on the show also highlights this. 92.11.18.11 (talk) 00:15, 6 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

References in Character Table

[edit]

Do we really need a whole column for refererences in the character table, could we not just put it straight after the actor in the acxtor column like many other wikipedia articles Frogkermit (talk) 21:29, 28 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
