Title

[edit]

Given the paucity of information provided here, I can't help wondering how justified the title is. What, for instance, happened to Andorra's Jews during the Second World War?213.208.155.112 (talk) 10:41, 15 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Andorra had no Jews before WW II. The country had become seriously depopulated during the Depression with population estimates being as low as 6,000 for the entire country by around 1940 (it's now c. 80,000).
There were substantial old houses in tiny, little known villages that were empty and could be bought or leased for only a few thousand francs. Only a handful of French Jews thought of relocating to Andorra but those who did were able to be safe from German attention. Pascalulu88 (talk) 21:41, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What the hell do Jews in Abkhazia have to do with Jews in Andorra? Pascalulu88 (talk) 21:44, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
