Wow, this article definitely needs references... and what a terrible intro! EunuchOmerta 00:08, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No kidding. Unfortunately I know nothing on the topic. Titanium Dragon 01:21, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Me neither... I'm going to try and change the style of the writing in it so that it's at least a little bit encyclopedic. EunuchOmerta 17:09, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Article name

[edit]

Shouldn't this page be named "History of eye colors" instead?--68.0.133.212 04:18, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes; done. EunuchOmerta 16:58, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Combine?

[edit]

This would be better combined with Eye Color, as a short section, as all the missing information from this stub is there. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Nstanosheck (talkcontribs) 15:47, 2 May 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Peter Frost theory

[edit]

Really, this article is one-liners about eye colors, and a lengthy description of some "Peter Frost" theory. It does not match the topic at all, focusing on a single theory at a single point in history. Which seems to focus on... hair color???

Is this theory something that is accepted by the scientific community at large? I keep feeling like I'm reading some blatant sexism/racism here: "Blondes are more beautiful!". Wrapped into a scientific theory, sure, but still feeling a little close to suggesting that aryans are somehow better.

BTW: I'm blond, so I guess I should be flattered. Still, this smells of bollocks.

BTW2: Searching for the theory to read it returns blatant racism in early hits.

It seems like this article contains little except a a summary of a controversial theory. I vote for deleting it.

I have requested attention from an expert for now. If it doesn't improve for a while, I will nominate for deletion. nadav (talk) 15:30, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. This article sucks. 75.15.230.195 22:20, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I just added Peter Frost's theory because it is actual, so it would be relevant. And even in the blonde article there is a part dedicated to his theory (not that I agree with it; pretty much the contrary). --SangeYasha 06:28, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Article

[edit]

I think Wikipedia must have an article bearing this name, because I think no one will not ever explain the eyes history, otherwise.
