Colonial Korea's Fu(府) and Comtemporary Japan's Fu(府)

[edit]

Colonial Korea's Fu(府)s is written as the same as Fu(府)s in today's Japan. However, fus in colonial Korea actually were not at the same level of fus today's Japan. The former is a municipal level for being under control of a province and the letter is a prefectural level for being an independent metropolitan entity. Thus, Colonial Korea's Fu(府) should be translated to "(municipal) city" other than "prefecture". Finefir2001 (talk) 15:43, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Relies too much on ancient sources

[edit]

Needs more modern tertiary analysis. I'm also seeing a lot of WP:OR in analyzing what the tertiary sources are saying. seefooddiet (talk) 08:55, 5 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
