Name
[edit]I read somewhere that the name Albania was considered when naming the state. Can anyone confirm this? 76.126.21.16 (talk) 19:04, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
Bias
[edit]I believe that the statement "new brunswick loggers entered into northern maine" is biased, and should read "new brunswick loggers entered into what would later be defined as northern maine." If there are no arguments, I will make this change in a week's time. (68.189.138.38 (talk) 00:41, 15 March 2010 (UTC))
- let's keep it. the area was called northern Maine at the time and it is false to suggest it was called something else. Rjensen (talk) 03:09, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
Dutch settlement
[edit]This map being used by Dutch Empire includes a Dutch settlement in Maine. Any idea what they're talking about? 101.229.93.255 (talk) 15:35, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
