Diptera

[edit]

@Indignant Flamingo: Please help me see clearly, or check it in some relevant source.

In jawiki it is 「双翅目」.

I tried to check the reading of this word in dictionaries and found these two similar:

1: 鞘翅類 (しょうしるい) (n) (obs) coleopterans; beetles

(shōshirui)

1: 双翅類 (そうしるい) (n) (obsc) dipterans

(sōshirui)

目 is ofcourse moku. It seems that the title of that novell is So-shimoku. As it is written for example in es.wiki.

So what is the source of the change So-shimoku into Sho-shimoku in this edit? This is copy pasted to other wiki also. Thanks for the answer, and sorry for my weak english. UTF48 (talk) 04:30, 10 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
