Second series
[edit]- Thanks to the Radio Times book I see a second series was made and filmed. I have removed the info about it as its unneccessary they have never been filmed. More importantly though, its all unreferenced and as the episodes werent aired information like titles & overview need to be referenced. --Berks105 21:14, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:HighStakes.jpg
[edit]Image:HighStakes.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

High Stakes (sitcom) → High Stakes (TV series) – Proper naming convention. It won't be confused with the game show - see for example The Chase (game show) and The Chase (TV series). Relisted. Jenks24 (talk) 12:57, 2 April 2013 (UTC) Unreal7 (talk) 22:47, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose High Stakes (TV series) should be a disambiguation page. There exists High Stakes (game show), and High Stakes (TV series) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) was merged into High Stakes (game show) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views), so the edit history will need to be kept around as well. The two shows should be properly disambiguated, since if neither is the primary topic of High Stakes, then both should not have ambiguous disambiguation. Further "The Chase (TV series)" should be renamed so that it is not ambiguous either. -- 65.92.180.137 (talk) 14:37, 24 March 2013 (UTC)
- Comment I suppose the edit history located at "High Stakes (TV series)" can be moved to High Stakes (2011 TV series). A redirect from High Stakes (2001 TV series) to "High Stakes (sitcom)" should also be implemented. Both programmes only aired for one series. -- 65.92.180.137 (talk) 14:57, 24 March 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose as this is an improper move request. Something needs to be suggested to resolve the existing redirect of High Stakes (TV series) since it doesn't redirect to the sitcom. Tiggerjay (talk) 04:30, 31 March 2013 (UTC)
- I don't think there's anything improper about this. The proposed target redirects to a dab, and has no incoming mainspace links (I fixed both that were there, which were intended for the game show). If the move happens, there would surely be a hatnote. --BDD (talk) 16:19, 16 April 2013 (UTC)

- Comment the problematic edit history was displaced to High Stakes (game show) version 2 -- 65.94.76.126 (talk) 04:32, 29 May 2013 (UTC)
- update renamed to High Stakes (2011 game show) as a sensible redirect name -- 65.94.76.126 (talk) 05:55, 29 May 2013 (UTC)

High Stakes (sitcom) → High Stakes (TV series) – Renewing the request for correct naming of this article: The sitcom is the only proper TV series with an article--the other TV show is a game show, not a series--and "sitcom" is not a standard disambiguator, per WP:NCTV. Any possible confusion can be cleared up by placing a hatnote on the sitcom article pointing to the game show article. Relisted. - Speedy procedural close this just closed last month, and this exact proposal failed. -- 65.94.76.126 (talk) 04:24, 29 May 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose High Stakes (TV series) should be a disambiguation page. There exists High Stakes (game show). The two shows should be properly disambiguated, since if neither is the primary topic of High Stakes, then both should not have ambiguous disambiguation. If you so hung up on "TV series", use High Stakes (2001 TV series), and the other should be High Stakes (2011 TV series); High Stakes (UK TV series) similarly needs disambiguation because it is ambiguous. The suggested title "High Stakes (TV series)" should redirect to the disambiguation page, as it is insufficiently disambiguous. The game show in question is a series of TV episodes, and is therefore, a TV series. -- 65.94.76.126 (talk) 04:24, 29 May 2013 (UTC)
- Speedy close, oppose same as 65.94.76.126. No reason why "sitcom" won't be understandable in this case. In ictu oculi (talk) 00:39, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
