Head of the Schoolgirls

[edit]

I'm splitting up the Head of the River and the Head of the Schoolgirls. They are two completely different events, and if these pages are going to also include results, trying to include the results of the girls crews at the Head of the River is just going to clutter things even more.Narcissus1x (talk) 06:23, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

When you do the split add "spilt to page [[XYZ]] in the edit summary, then people know where the content has gone, and the bot doesn't chuck a tantrum. I have fixed it up for you now. ;-) Wongm (talk) 12:15, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You're a champion! Thank you, I'll do so in future. Still getting the hang of it all heh. I just finished a table with all the girls HOTR results. Going to put it in. :) Narcissus1x (talk) 12:19, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

When did the head of the river move to Nagambie?

[edit]

I think the body of the article should state when the head of the river moved to Nagambie. I don’t have this information, but I am sure some of those who have been editing the article do. Perhaps the location of each race could be added to the table of results. Also, I recall hearing/reading once that one of the reasons the regatta was shifted permanently from the Yarra to the Barwon was because of an infamous melee one year which spilled into the city. There is surely a newspaper archive reference for that. Robertbshields (talk) 01:18, 24 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
