Hi @Aureliusmax:. Thank for your comments. I am writing this article due to his political career, so I am a bit unfamiliar with defense hierarchies (especially when they have to be translated). The ranking template Template:Ranks and Insignia of NATO Navies/OF/Netherlands is sourced with a Defense document outlining the ranks, and it has the subtext kapitein/captain below luitenant-ter-zee der 2e klasse oudste categorie. However, I realize that the comparative table at the top of Lieutenant (navy) puts a navy captain much higher than an army one. I have taken over your suggestion after trying to compare the NATO categories and insignia. - Tristan Surtel (talk)
