I appreciate the addition of the recently added photo of Krebs in his Gauleiter uniform. The description of the photo in Wiki Commons says it is from "presumably 1940–1942". However, I must question the accuracy of that date, as the collar tabs in the photo are clearly the pre-1939 version (two gold oak leaves, but without the superimposed eagle and swastika that were added around September 1939). The difference between the collar tabs can be seen in the illustration contained in the Gauleiter article. Since Krebs was made an honorary Gauleiter in April 1938, I must conclude that the photo is more likely from 1938 or 1939. I am changing the article accordingly.
