[edit]I've attempted to explain all the facets of Grim Grinning Ghosts in reasonable detail. Any and all positive modifications are welcome, naturally. Datameister 02:43, 1 November 2005 (UTC)
Extremely cool. What's the chord the song uses when it modulates back to A-minor from B-flat-minor? - Lucky 6.9 06:17, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
- I believe it's a G7/Bb chord, or something based on it. Datameister 17:28, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
- Sorry, make that a Ab dim7/Bb chord. Datameister 01:00, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
- Sorry again. Make that an F and an E on the tubular bells, with Bb in the rhythm section. Tubular bells have very weird acoustic properties, and I think that's the cause of all our confusion. Datameister 04:39, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
- Sorry, make that a Ab dim7/Bb chord. Datameister 01:00, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
Grim Grinning Ghost Trains?
[edit]I've never heard of that version before and I haven't found anything on it. Is it even notable enough to be in the article? --FigmentJedi 21:20, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- In my opinion, I agree that it is not worth mentioning.--Epolk 22:10, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- Gone. 'Twas complete bovine excrement. - Lucky 6.9 05:50, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
- The lead singer in "Grim Grinning Ghosts" - Thurl Ravenscroft - Not only was the voice of Tony The Tiger, but was also the lead singer in the song "You're a mean one Mister Grinch" from the Christmas Special.
Full title & sheet music
[edit]I've added a note of the full title of the song and an image of the vocal lead sheet. If it should be formatted differently on the page please feel free. Ste3ve 20:56, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
