1939-40

[edit]

None of the competitions in the footnote existed in that era, so what competition did his "other" appearance come in....? -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 20:22, 21 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The First Division games that were stricken from the records.--EchetusXe 23:37, 21 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The footnote should reflect that, then, rather than implying that it came in one of a number of competitions which didn't even exist..... -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 07:26, 22 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Leeds United statistics

[edit]

I could not find a single source other than https://www.leeds-fans.org.uk/leeds/players/188.html (which I don't think is proper because it's made and managed by a fan) to support the Leeds United stats. Should it be removed? Ae245 (talk) 07:15, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The statistics are sourced at the top of the table.--EchetusXe 14:40, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The source doesn't work or requires a subscription. Ae245 (talk) 15:50, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
That's right, its "£32-a-year and you get player statistics for every player in the EFL since 1888.--EchetusXe 16:12, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Too bad regular people can't verify the data's validity without paying for a subscription! Ae245 (talk) 17:19, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Just like one would have to purchase a book. But yeah I subscribed for a year and used it to put stats for every Port Vale person onto Wikipedia.--EchetusXe 04:52, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
