Citation for plugins
[edit]A citation is needed for the statement that Gnote is extensible with plugins. I could make a screenshot of the program with the plugin window in view. Is such a primary source appropriate here? I can't really find a good textual source. Another option would be to cite source code. Remco47 (talk) 00:52, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
- The statement is "A host of plugins extends the program to include functionality like exporting to HTML and printing support", and what I meant to question was the "host" of Gnote plugins, not the ability to extend it with plugins. An example of a good citation would be one that identifies a list of the plugins with a large number of entries. RossPatterson (talk) 12:02, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
- I see. It's probably not enough for it to be called 'a host of'. I changed it into the neutral "Plugins extend...". Remco47 (talk) 19:51, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
Invalid Argument
[edit]The article states Some Linux-compatible hardware does not officially support Mono yet, for example, netbook computers using the Loongson CPU (available in China). On these, Gnote is a reasonable replacement for Tomboy.. This however is not true. According to mono-project.com/Supported Platforms, the mono runtime is also available for the mips architecture. Since the idea behind having a runtime like mono is to have platform independence on the first place, the whole argument is highly invalid. --Mewtu (talk) 13:31, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
