External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to 2 external links on Glasgow Highlanders. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20071220001517/http://www.regiments.org:80/tradition/tartans/macken5.htm to http://www.regiments.org/tradition/tartans/macken5.htm
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20100223062930/http://glasgowhighlanders.org:80/ to http://glasgowhighlanders.org/
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Trivia
[edit]I've removed the as this is WP:TRIVIA and WP:FANCRUFT, its purpose it seems was to provide an opportunity for an editor to insert the following two low quality images, neither of which is of the real 45157 which was scrapped a long time ago. The photographs by themselves don't add anything to the article, but for administrative reasons:
-
45407 at Buxton in March 2018 while in the identity of scrapped sister no 45157 The Glasgow Highlander.
-
The Glasgow Highlander nameplate on the drivers side.
I propose that these low quality images should be removed. Tony May (talk) 09:49, 22 March 2019 (UTC)
- I think it reasonable that there should be a short text mention of the eponymous locomotive and the image of its nameplate or replica nameplate included. The photo taken with dirt on the lens of 45407 has no value here.SovalValtos (talk) 04:53, 23 March 2019 (UTC)
