Hello Cl3phact0. Which material(s) is Ms Zanellato known for? Looking through the references, I see mention of glassware, but maybe there are also other materials? Regards, MrsSnoozyTurtle10:43, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
There are quite a few examples on the Zanellato/Bortotto site of furniture, lighting, and various decorative/household objects in a range of materials that she has designed, either alone or with her partner in Zanellato/Bortotto – it's not always clear who did what in such cases (see: Charles and Ray Eames, or Lella and Massimo Vignelli for example). As she is from Venice, it seems that she has an affinity for and knowledge of the glass making arts. I don't know that much about her, but came across her work in my reading about design and she seemed a good WiR candidate. Hope this helps! -- Cl3phact0 (talk) 11:00, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the info. Yes, when there is a design partnership, it is often hard to determine what each person's contributions are.
The reason for my question is that I was hoping to make the introduction a bit more specific. I've added "designer of household and decorative objects", but feel free to revise or revert this as you see fit. Regards, MrsSnoozyTurtle22:09, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, MrsSnoozyTurtle. Re: WP:N Zanellato/Bortotto vs. Giorgia Zanellato, of the eight reference sources included, four are primarily about Ms Zanetello (including one about her American Academy in Rome tenure). In future, an article about the design partnership may be worth considering, however my intention here was to focus on this article in the context of WiR-271. -- Cl3phact0 (talk) 07:31, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
