Order of Canada

Regarding whether he's a member of the Order of Canada or not, the quote I've read says: ""I've sent a note to the prime minister and to the Governor General saying that since Dr. Morgentaler is now a member of the order, I'm returning my insignia and no longer want to be part of the order," Finn told Radio-Canada in French." source justinfr (talk) 22:44, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

He can do whatever he wants, but the Chancellery at Rideau Hall is in charge of the membership of the Order of Canada. As long as Finn is on the books, he's still a member. --G2bambino (talk) 01:30, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
