Passes "good article" nomination
[edit]This article has now passed its Good article nomination. This is how the article, as of June 12, 2021, compares against the six good article criteria:
- 1. Well written?: Pass
- 2. Verifiable?: Pass
- 3. Broad in coverage?: Pass
- I would like to see more information on how she was influenced by Alice Freeman Palmer. What in particular was it that she admired? How did it affect the way she lived her life?
- Done I have looked everywhere imaginable and have not been able to find anything further on how Gertrude Hull was influenced by Alice Freeman Palmer. The only thing I could find is where the reference #5 of Bentley Historical library says she was influenced by Palmer.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 18:20, 11 June 2021 (UTC)
- It was part of a survey. I have incorporated this into her historical biography. - Aussie Article Writer (talk) 22:36, 11 June 2021 (UTC)

- She was part of many different organizations. In what capacity? And did she accomplish anything by them? I have often found people who are part of this many organizations were more influential that just one event. For instance, originally I thought that Kate Baker was only important because of her encouragement and championing of Joseph Furphy, but a bit of digging found that she was far more influential in the Australian literary world of the time than I could have imagined.
- Done Have not found anything further if Hull accomplished anything further in the organizations she was associated with.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 18:20, 11 June 2021 (UTC)
This article seems a little short. It would also be good if you could add {{sfn}} to the references section so it links to the works in the Sources section.
- Done Fixed year in sources so sfn template links correctly to Source book
Nonetheless, I can see from the variety of sources that you have done some great research already. I'm sure if you do a bit more digging you could flesh out the article more.
- Done Don't see where I can expand the article further. --Doug Coldwell (talk) 18:20, 11 June 2021 (UTC)
When these issues are addressed, the article can be renominated. If you feel that this review is in error, feel free to have it reassessed. Thank you for your work so far.— Aussie Article Writer (talk) 13:33, 11 June 2021 (UTC)

- @Aussie Article Writer: All issues have been addressed. Can you take another look. Thanks.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 18:20, 11 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Doug Coldwell: I was bold and folded the Influences section into her biographical details. I agree that there is little information on her involvement in the associations other than she was a member, and her position within the organizations. Congrats, I feel that this is a GA! - Aussie Article Writer (talk) 22:45, 11 June 2021 (UTC)
