I'll get to this shortly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 09:15, 28 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Sturmvogel 66: Do you mind reviewing this and Japanese landing ship No. 1? Lettlerhellocontribs 16:14, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Most of the specific comments I made about the Landing ship No. 1 article also apply here regarding linking and abbreviations, although I'll expand it here to cover removing weapon designations as well.
  • Add links to Hamburg (in the infobox), laid down, launched, commissioned, nautical miles, yard number
  • German Type VIIC submarines were preceded by the shorter Type VIIB submarines While true, it would better to explain it more fully. Perhaps, "The Type VIIC submarine was increased in length/size over the Type VIIB because ..." Or "was an enlarged version of the VIIB for x reason" Something like that. Shouldn't be more than a single sentence, though.
  • in yard number "as"
  • Remove the italics from 5th U-boat Flotilla; that name's in English, not German. Same for the 7th
  • If you're using the same source twice or more in the same paragraph, consolidate them into one entry at the end of the paragraph.
  • Use an endash between page numbers, not a hyphen, q.v. Gröner.
  • The MOS requires a trailing comma for geographic places names, so add one after Hamburg. Forgot to sign this back when--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 13:00, 9 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • I think this article's ready; it's just taken me time to procure a source for Japanese landing ship No. 1. Lettlerhellocontribs 13:20, 9 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
      • There's some infobox stuff on the review of Landing ship No. 1 that still hasn't been implemented, abbreviations, mostly. Plus links for tonnes, etc.
  • I've been reminded that Uboat.net is not considered a reliable source. Luckily, I believe that your other sources can cover most of that info.
  • And there's a cite needed tag that you need to address.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 18:53, 9 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • What's the point of cite #4 since it appears to be redundant to #3?
  • Link tonnes, metric horsepower in the infobox and main body
  • Link knots, input only (|lk=in), in the main body
  • Abbreviate nautical miles in the infobox
  • The 88 mm gun in the main body is more specifically a deck gun, not a naval gun
  • Trim the fate down to sunk by X on X. The specific details are better saved for the main body--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 15:42, 13 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
