The following enormous cleanup message was added in 2018:
This article may require cleanup to meet Wikipedia's quality standards. The specific problem is: "The conference results removed numerous existing variant forms." -- while that is correct (e.g. regarding -ieren/-iren, daß/dass), it's also misleading and lacking information as numerous existing variant forms still existed after the conference. It would be good to point out, when more forms got removed (unofficially by Buchdruckerduden 1903; officially by new regional spelling rules, e.g. in Prussia 1907 and 1908; by other Duden editions? Please help improve this article if you can. |
