Quite correct, this is not a gossip column. Not encyclopedic and delete please. The private jet item appears to be untrue or highly misleading, not backed up by its source. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rpersse (talkcontribs) 20:03, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Well I'm not someone who knows a lot about him other than what I contributed but I should think coming second in at least one reality television series would make him notable. The Sunday Business Post is not exactly some tabloid rag either. Also please sign and maybe open an account before leaving such comments in future. And here is a good way of determining if he is notable. --➨♀♂Candlewicke ST # :) 21:24, 14 January 2009

Its autosigned and this is a talk page so I'm perfectly entitled to leave 'such comments' here, indeed why would you possibly object to errors and poor material being pointed out on wiki? The source does not back up the entry, therefore it shouldn't be here. This is supposed to be an online encylopedia not a gossip column. Articles like this belong in tabloid newspapers.Coming second in a reality tv show is called trivia and discouraged under wiki policyRpersse (talk) 23:41, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I seem to have enraged you somewhat so my apologies if I came across as overly critical. I recall some discussion or other over recent months which stated that placing in a reality TV show was enough to have an article. This fellow was known before he came second in what was supposedly a "celebrity" reality TV show. That term may be open for debate and I don't necessarily agree with it either. But, as an experienced editor, his name repeatedly came up as a red link and through his many mentions in newspapers and television I have come to believe that he is notable - not necessarily important, historic or even likeable, but notable. You may also like to vent your fury at this currently unwell person or even at this piece of sensationalist scandal but I don't think you will be able to persuade anyone to delete either. My point is that sometimes that which appears in the tabloids is indeed notable. And by the way, I'll say it again, The Sunday Business Post is far from being a tabloid. I don't even read it but I am aware that it contains lots of economic and political jargon. So the very mention of a fellow who belongs in the gossip columns must surely increase what little credibility he has. The TV appearances aren't mentioned in a trivia section which is, I believe, the point you may be trying to make. --➨♀♂Candlewicke ST # :) 20:13, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed you appear to have already attempted deletion without informing me! Nonetheless I have been backed up by other editors in my unfortunate absence from the debate. :) --➨♀♂Candlewicke ST # :) 20:15, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Vanity page?

[edit]

Is this, perchance, a vanity page? Wondering. --82.181.107.20 (talk) 19:55, 18 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it is. --130.233.200.211 (talk) 12:02, 9 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
