Police officers

I have a question about the accuracy of "Ninety percent of the law enforcement and corrections officers in southeast Georgia attended AASU." While not trying to nitpick that just seems like a very suspicious number. Georga Southern has an equally accomplished criminal justice program and a larger enrollment. I would just like a source on that.

In response to the unknown poster above, what it was probably talking about was the Georgia Public Safety Training Center which used to be located at Armstrong. Even if you get a Criminal Justice degree at Georgia Southern, you still have to be POST certified. That used to be located at Armstrong. Hence most of the law enforcement officers in SE Georgia probably did go through the GPSTC at Armstrong when that was commented. Todd Gallagher (talk) 20:21, 16 July 2013 (UTC)

Extensive Cleanup needed

This article needs a lot of work and TLC. To get the cleanup started I recently fixed the lead section and infobox, and I will try to work on the rest of the article when I have some time. Some of the major issues are: the entire article reads like an advertisement, there are no references and in line citations, for some of the info and placed citation needed tags, and a number of other more minor issues with structure. For more help on what info to include, see the article structure section of College and university article guidelines. Thanks and happy editing! Bhockey10 (talk) 04:26, 10 March 2011 (UTC)

Neutrality

Given the "our" in the College of Liberal Arts section, I question this article's neutrality.Uberaccount (talk) 03:00, 27 February 2013 (UTC)

So you challenged the articles neutrality over a single word? That's a trivial reason, particularly when considering the context:
"Liberal arts have been the foundation of education at Armstrong since our founding. The College of Liberal Arts includes various departments and interdisciplinary programs that prepares graduates for careers in government, criminal justice, law, business, and entertainment. Students in the College of Liberal Arts study the arts, humanities, and social sciences in classroom environments and through internships, performances, exhibitions, undergraduate research projects and study abroad programs. Departments include Art, Music and Theatre, Criminal Justice, Social & Political Science, Economics, History, Languages, Literature & Philosophy, Interdisciplinary Programs, and Military Science/ROTC."
