Dates
[edit]At the moment he is born ca.1465, but his master Ouwater died in 1475, according to his article. The Getty also have him born ca. 1460 [2] Johnbod (talk) 16:44, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
- I think we need a more founded estimate, maybe Johann Kessler's dissertation mentions this too? – Ilse@ 22:32, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
- The Getty is highly sourced with the latest info - see the references they quote. But I accept the Dutch museums & Reinhart collection thought he went to ca. 1495. Johnbod (talk) 22:39, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
- I suppose the dates for A(e)lbert van Ouwater won't be more accurate either... – Ilse@ 22:49, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
- Getty have him "active" to 1465 too. Johnbod (talk) 23:31, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Portrait image
[edit]I think the portrait of a woman from the painting The Holy Kinship should not be used as a portrait of the man Geertgen tot Sint Jans. I believe there is a portrait of Geertgen tot Sint Jans in the municipal archives of the city of Haarlem, that could be used to replace this image. – Ilse@ 20:53, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
