Consistent vandalism
[edit]Seeing the recent edit history of this page, could it be protected for a while? I never know how to deal with this kind of stuff... ~Mable (chat) 17:52, 9 June 2016 (UTC)
- @Maplestrip: I made a request at WP:RPP already. Hopefully they'll temporarily protect the page. EvergreenFir (talk) Please {{re}} 18:13, 9 June 2016 (UTC)

Unnecessary negative personal opinion?
[edit]"However, Keenan also noted that the relationship would realistically be "unhealthy, unstable and controlling," as Ruby and Sapphire seem completely controlled by the relationship."
This comes across as negative and judgemental, especially referring to a fictional character, and not really fitting into the article at all. I'm removing the sentence. suudo 59.102.84.191 (talk) 04:36, 5 September 2016 (UTC)
- It's germane to the article and we're already quoting/referencing that person so I cannot see a reason to exclude it. EvergreenFir (talk) 05:13, 5 September 2016 (UTC)
- It's a criticism of the character, more so directed towards Rebecca Sugar herself. It's an editorial piece from a longrunning newspaper. It's not as though the article is out of balance either, as it seems to be the only bit of criticism in the entire article. ~Mable (chat) 09:30, 5 September 2016 (UTC)
Permanent fusion?
[edit]While I love describing Ruby and Sapphire's relationship as two gems sharing one body, this isn't a permanent situation. The two can split apart whenever they want, however, they choose to live fused unless they are fighting or need to separate for a mission (like when the group of Rubys come to Earth in search of Jasper). I suggest leaving the word "permanent" out of their description, and phrase it in a more accurate way instead. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MarinaThings (talk • contribs) 21:20, 20 October 2016 (UTC)
Female character categories
[edit]I have opened a discussion here: Talk:List_of_Steven_Universe_characters#Gems_as_non-binary_women to discuss adding female character categories to the full gem characters. Oornery (talk) 23:52, 26 November 2018 (UTC)
