What about those machines in arcades where you direct a claw to try and pick up prizes, what are they called (Otto is seen using one in The Simpsons episode Team Homer (where Homer creates a bowling team).

These are called crane grames and they can be programmed as either games of skill or games of chance. The practical reality however is that most operate as games of chance as the control the player is able to exert over the crane is limited. Jh

Cue sports such as snooker, pocket billiards, and billiards are considered mental sports likewise to physical sports as listed in the article. There are many books written on the mental game of pool such as: "A Mind for Pool," "Pleasures of Small Motions: The Mental Game of Pool," and "Precision Pool." Hope I have helped some. AB.
