English Meanings of Hindi Names/Words
[edit]Since this article is in English, could someone add some text to this article describing the meaning of Hindi words/phrases used in the article? The obvious starting place is the title, "Galli Galli Sim Sim or, at least, the word Galli.
Another example: The text in the Characters section reads: "Khadoosa, As the name suggests…" The name suggests nothing to non-Hindi speakers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 136.24.130.80 (talk) 23:51, 10 November 2019 (UTC)
Grant WikiQuote page
[edit]There are quotes located within the article as a sub-category. I suggest these be moved to a separate WikiQuotes page. 13:35, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
Devanagari/Indian languages
[edit]An anonymous user removed the Devnagari from this article, presumably for political reasons. I thought long and hard about including the name of the show in Perso-Arabic script, but, not being able to find any mention of the show in Urdu online, decided that would be OR and left it only as it appears in the title cards. Additionally, while Hindi is indeed an Indian language, as far as I know it’s the only language used in the show—there is no Tamil on “Galli Galli Sim Sim,” for example, and so reverted the article to read Hindi language. —Wiki Wikardo 08:42, 31 May 2011 (UTC)
