[edit]Gabriele Krocher Tiedemann seems to have been a psychiatric patient who became involved with Socialist Politics in West Germany. The probable reason for her not being convicted of the murders at the Vienna Kidnappings is that the witness statements contradicted each other as to the dress of the woman who shot the Police Officer. Her background to entering the 'Armed Arab Resistance' (the name given by Carlos to the Group of Kidnappers in Vienna) was with the 'Movement 2nd of June'. This was a Terrorist Group in Germany made of Members who the Red Brigades felt were unsuitable for their Group. Her husbands Name was Norbit. As the Jet carrying the kidnapped Oil Summit Ministers flew past Libya Ms Tiedermann shouted 'Revolutionary greetings' to Mr Gaddafi over the aircraft radio. Mr Gaddafi was furious that the Kidnappers should try and land in his country and shut down the nations airports to prevent Tiedermanns group landing there. Ms Tiedermann was a complex character. On the flight out of Vienna, she laid aside her automatic weapon and tenderly nursed her fellow kidnapper Klien who had been shot in the raid. Hours later she was swearing and screaming at Carlos for accepting the bribe paid to prevent the Oil Ministers being shot.Johnwrd (talk) 02:00, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

Associated with the Red Army faction?
[edit]The meaning of the term "associated" is unclear. She was never a member, and never involved in any of the RAF's actions, as far as is publicly known. She did know some RAF members, but that does not imply "association". — Preceding unsigned comment added by Udittmer (talk • contribs) 07:59, 10 December 2021 (UTC)
@Czar Re: cited association with anarchism, both this article and the de-wiki one have her as a member of 2 June Movement. -- asilvering (talk) 12:20, 30 March 2022 (UTC)
- What reliable sources link her to anarchist viewpoints? Usually we don't infer political leanings by association. I.e., if it's noteworthy enough to mention in an article, a reliable, secondary source should ostensibly exist on the subject. czar 04:27, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
