Almond paste

According to French sources ([1][2][3]) proper frangipane is a mixture of crème d'amande (a type of almond paste) and crème pâtissière. A lot of simplified recipes for frangipane are actually recipes for crème d'amande as they contain no milk. In English, it may be fair to say that frangipane is a word used for both frangipane and almond cream. Ibadibam (talk) 19:56, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
