I have just started this page; others are welcome to help. It needs disambiguation links, which I am not sure how to make. Several sections haven't been started yet, but I hope to write them shortly.Michael E Nolan (talk) 07:25, 23 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Article scope and content

[edit]

I have some doubts about this article that I'd like to discuss. This term is widely used in Mexico so its notability is not in question, however, it is mainly a campaign slogan and/or a nickname for the political movement led by AMLO. The majority of the content in here is more appropriate and for the most part already included in Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, the Presidency of Andrés Manuel López Obrador, and political party, National Regeneration Movement, articles.

Also, the inclusion of lengthy recounts of the "first three transformations" is not warranted, since this association has not been given by historians or independent political analysts, but self-adopted and promoted by AMLO and his political movement. A mention of the assertion with links to existing articles should be sufficient.

Removing the redundant content wouldn't leave much in this article, mostly the definition, but I think that would be a more accurate and objective representation of what "Fourth transformation" currently represents in Mexico.
