BLP additional sources needed

[edit]

I've tagged the page for needing additional inline citations and because some of the sources do not appear to be independent (for instance, a gallery announcement is not considered independent, while a review in an arts magazine would be considered independent). Adding these tags is a less drastic action than draftifying, but another editor is free to take that step if they think it is merited. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 02:01, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Jim, You added this to an article I have on wiki:"This biography of a living person needs additional citations for verification."
Everything is cited to magazines and newspapers such as NY times and well known art Magazines such as Flashart and Artforum or museum websites.
What specifically seems to be the issue? Thanks Fiona — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fionapark (talkcontribs) 20:51, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Fionapark: This article must adhere to the requirements at BLP. In particular, there must be inline citations for all biographical material (that could be challenged). So when you write, Hajamadi received classical training in drawing and painting from private classes while a student at a French Catholic school in Esfahan, Iran. you need to cite a source. This is a problem throughout the article. The alternative to providing the required inline citations is that the unsourced material must be removed. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 01:46, 13 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
