Mass cleanup
[edit]The article was barely more than a stub, with some random information. I attempted to correct random commentary or anything unsourced. I added sources or expanded in areas I could find sources for. Separated Fanatics differing forays into each sporting league. While each sub-heading is on the smaller side, as further deals go and time passes, these headers will be even more useful, so this move was as much for clarity as for ease of editing in the future. I will further expand to confirm other contracts mentioned in the lede but not in the body, but felt organization was more important first, to make further edits as it read mostly like an advertisement, instead of a Wiki article. Could some of the content be combined in to something like a merchandise section?
[edit]A merchandise section or similar sections explaining the company's business in the apparel, trading card, NFT, etc. markets followed by the "Other Ventures" section seems more in the scope of the article than its current format.
From an outsider's perspective, it's difficult to understand the relevance of all of the individual sections within the current format of the article and they make it appear as a WP:COATRACK. There doesn't seem to be much, if any, context given or explanation of the historical significance, impact on the company & competitors, etc. provided within the Sports Leagues sections.
Criticism section
[edit]could some of the ongoing quality issues across different product lines, and general concerns/criticism about cost-cutting measures be combined into a criticism section? 24.168.27.85 (talk) 14:16, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
Reads like a press release
[edit]The article reads as if it is a press release from Fanatics. Benm316 (talk) 21:27, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
