completely live sequence? question

Live TV I took to be as how shorter daytime soaps may have been filmed (with 1 set). This is 1 hour 24 minutes. The whole lot was filmed serially live, with all the camerawork / sets even? It's that seamlessless, that makes me think that it cannot be live (without any mistakes). It's also in a series of acts with interfades. Two performances

I'm under the impression that Fail Safe was performed live twice.

Once for the East Coast and again for the West Coast.

If this is correct, I think it should be mentioned in the article.

Also, I think it should be mentioned which version was used for the DVD release.
