This article has been recently added twice to that Category, I reverted the first addition and my edit was itself returned to the new Cat. without any discussion. I disagree with adding this article to this Crime and Punishment Category but let's discuss and come to a consensus. Shearonink (talk) 16:02, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry. When I saw it wasn't in the category anymore, I figured that I forgot to click save so I went back and tried again. Anyway, espionage is a crime, even if you're spying for the good guys. And it can be called a crime even if a court has not made any determination. For example the Zodiac Killer was a criminal even though he was never caught. And even if you don't believe that espionage against an illegitimate government should count as a crime, then the illegitimate government itself is the crime being referenced. So there was definitely a crime of some sort going on. Remember, we're not making a judicial determination here. We're just indexing an article. We're pointing the reader to the topic and letting them decide. Mooseman2 (talk) 22:58, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
