Cleanup

[edit]

Just to note that I am in the process of giving this article a through cleanup, with a view to removing the banner and the citation needed tags by the time I am done. I am using the other articles in the Category:Personal transporters as a template for the heading structure. Before starting this I did work on Self-balancing scooter and Self-balancing unicycle. Proposal to remove 'Comparison' section

[edit]

I propose to remove the comparison section for a number of reasons:

  • Firstly, Wikipedia is not a directory/catalog as per WP:NOTDIRECTORY
  • Secondly, the table is not sourced and updated and may well be incomplete or out of date
  • Thirdly, I don't believe that this level of detail is helpful to the balance of the article

If you don't agree then let's discuss it here. I won't action this for 7 days, and the content will remain in the archive if there is any reason to retrieve some of all of it later for use on this article or elsewhere.

[edit]

I propose to merge the 'Use and regulation by country' section of this article into a new legal section for the recently created Personal transporter article, along similar content from Self-balancing unicycle, Self-balancing scooter and electric kick scooter. This is to avoid duplication and fragmentation of content for various devices that are treated very much the same by the law.

If you wish to discuss this then please do so on Talk:Personal_transporter#Merging_legal_content to keep all the discussion in one place.
