PROD

[edit]

I object to this PROD on a procedural basis that it has been placed by an IP address with no previous edits. JP (Talk) 09:23, 18 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Jpeeling: There is no reason why an IP cannot nominate for PROD. 81.141.87.235 (talk) 10:51, 18 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
There is the rule prohibiting it equally a PROD can be removed for any reason. My personal view is that IP whose first edit is placing a PROD is likely to be an experienced Wikipedia editor hiding behind a IP address in which case they should be using their original account, Wikipedia has too many issues with sockpuppets. JP (Talk) 11:25, 18 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Jpeeling: Please show me the rule that says an IP cannot propose a PROD. 81.141.87.235 (talk) 11:50, 18 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It should read "There is no rule prohibiting it" JP (Talk) 11:53, 18 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Jpeeling: So your objection is that I am an IP editor who chooses not to register. I am not engaging in any sockpuppet behaviour. If I were to be doing this, I would come along with a registered account and support the deletion. You are assuming bad faith here. It would also be nice if you could apologise for your typo above, which completely changed the meaning of what you wrote... 81.141.87.235 (talk) 11:58, 18 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
