He was actually born in 1862, but aside from that - President of a cricket club by the age of four? I think this info may relate to the 3rd Earl who seems to have held quite a few local positions in Middlesex but I can't seem to find anything about cricket in the family. Hmmm. The 3rd Earl was Viscount Enfield 1860–1886, then the earldom lacked heirs apparent until the 6th Earl (1899–1918). Note also that the 3rd Earl died in 1898, the same year the Presidency passed to V.E. Walker. Choess 04:52, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
