I've tried to cleanup this article a lot, in line with Wikipedia guidelines, and this has meant removing some un-needed links. Please note the article should eb about East Woodhay - info about the village of East End should be placed in a seperate article about East End! UkPaolo 19:15, 15 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I agree. When I Started the article originally, it was about East End, but it grew to be about the wider area. I must split it off. -- user:Matt.whitby

Just seen you're the main person to have edited the article - well congrats, it's a v. informative lil article! Yes, it would be nice for an article on East End to be split off... I'm not sufficiently knowledgeable on the area to distinguish what content belongs where - but good luck in doing so! UkPaolo 19:39, 15 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

"The Chase"

[edit]

There is much more information about "The Chase" in the external links, some of which could be included in this article. --DThomsen8 (talk) 13:04, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Relevance of long quote in the 1830 history subsection.

[edit]

The extended quote in the History subsection 1830 doesn’t seem to add much in the way of information to the article. Around half of the quote is focussed on West Woodhay, and so is almost certainly inappropriate for this article. The quote in general feels very much like travel writing in a not particularly helpful style for this article - does the reader really need to know it was “dark” and there was “mild weather” on one specific night of the year in 1830?
