Confusion in the dates of Chola period and Sri Vijaya period
[edit]The article states that Nila Utama of SriVijaya empire discovered Singapura on 13th century. It also states that Chola emperor annexed it on 11th century from the SriVijaya empire.
Dont you see the irony here? Can any one please clarify with valid citation?
- Well, I have to say that the idea that Singapore has only existed since the 11th or 13th century must be wrong. It must have been there long before that. The main article says "Singapore's history dates back at least a millennium" but it is obviously a place for traders and all kinds of commerce. It may even be the Ophir of the Bible.
