This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because this page documents are popular band in the Australian music scene who's influence is only growing. Whilst on an international scale such a band may be insignificant it is an important icon in the current Australian music industry and as such deserves a place on the largest online encyclopedia. --MarsOz (talk) 18:26, 26 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've declined the speedy since I've uncovered enough evidence to show that the band would pass notability guidelines as a whole. You're correct in that they're really only known in Australia, but the coverage there is significant enough to where I think that they pass WP:NBAND overall. Although in defense of @Reddogsix:, the coverage wasn't all that immediately apparent and took some digging to really uncover. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。)06:28, 27 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
