Dukan diet "idiotic"

[edit]

"Dieters looking elsewhere however are advised to look straight past the Dukan diet, which was ranked equal last and which one expert referred to as 'idiotic'." Reads like a huge commercial.

[edit]

This article reads more like the Doctors staff wrote it then something created by a neutral observer. It is in need of heavy neutral editing.

No kidding! I edited some but it still needs to be made more neutral. {Heroeswithmetaphors talk} 00:05, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
This entire article needs a load of citations. Espescially since Dr. Oz is going to promote this on his show tomorrow(May 2nd, 2011). There's gonna be a ton of idiots looking here for answers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.57.152.15 (talk) 01:25, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Exposure in UK Media

[edit]

Is it possible for Radio 4's Woman's Hour to have an hour-long interview with anyone? The whole program is less than 60 minutes long and always includes a 15 minute drama. TheOneOnTheLeft (talk) 10:40, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The 'interview' was a 3 sided question/discussion and lasted about 10 minutes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.104.46.62 (talk) 19:09, 11 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Similar Diets

[edit]

Why is Weight Watchers listed here? Weight Watchers is a low-fat calorie restricted diet, which is entirely different from a high-protein, carb-restricted diet. If Dukan is similar to Atkins, it is also similar to the GO Diet, and the Protein Power diet, but not Weight Watchers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.76.245.253 (talk) 15:26, 12 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Scientific backing

[edit]

There are plenty of studies done on various diets. Look them up and weigh up the scientific credibility, or I will raise it with a wikigroup like, say, alternative therapies. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.129.51.51 (talk) 06:15, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
