I have a 33 1/3 Stereo lp put out by Diplomat Records (Synthetic Plastics Co., Newark NJ). RFM 75 BANJO & PRECUSSION THE COVER IS LABLED: PING PONG BANJO AND PRECUSSION IT HAS A ICON OF A 4 STRING INSTRUMENT WITH A ODD TOP. THERE IS A INSERT IN THE LOWER LEFT CORNER WITH THE WORD "DIPLOMAT RECORDS AND A RED V WITH A MEDALION HANGING FROM IT. THE NAMES OF THE TWELVE SONGS ARE WRITTEN TO THE RIGHT OF THE MUSICAL INSTRUMENT. THE RECORDING ITSELF HAS THE NUMBER 2253A-B AND STATES THE RECORDINGS ARE FEATURING BILL JOHNSON WITH THE DIPLOMAT ORCHESTRA. i AM CONVERTING THIS LP TO CD, BUT NEED THE DATE IT WAS PRODUCED.

Hamilton Records

The article states that Hamilton was formed as a Rock/R&B subsidiary. The published catalog would seem to contradict this. Does anyone have a source for this statement? Certainly by the mid-60s it was a budget subsidiary. 78.26 (I'm no IP, talk to me!) 19:57, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
