Hi Editorofthewiki, if you are still interested, I will review this article. I usually start with a copyedit and then go from there. If you disagree with any of the copyedits, let me know. I try to just make uncontroversial changes. Cheers, « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 16:33, 7 September 2018 (UTC)

- Lead
- "Before Loyola, he attended Simeon Career Academy and was teammates with Jabari Parker." - maybe add "NBA player" or "professional basketball player" before Jabari Parker to show how mentioning him is relevant to the article?
- Added NBA player. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 15:45, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- Could you link NBA? « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 16:21, 8 September 2018 (UTC)

- Added NBA player. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 15:45, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- There needs to be some mention of his professional career in the lead. Maybe add a sentence stating his current professional status. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 14:14, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- I would, but his professional status is currently unknown. There are some reports he signed with the Mavs. Generally Summer League performance doesn't go in the lead. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 15:45, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- Maybe something like that - "Ingram is currently a free agent." The lead has to properly summarize the whole article, and since you have a section on his professional career, there needs to be something. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 16:21, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- I added that. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 18:06, 8 September 2018 (UTC)

- Early life and high school
- Please define what AAU stands for.
- Done. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 15:49, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- " He competed in AAU for Mean Streets, and Jabari Parker convinced him to transfer to Simeon Career Academy in Chicago." - how did he know Jabari? Was he a teammate? Please explain.
- No, he played against Jabari. Clarified. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 15:51, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- "As a junior, Ingram was a sixth man on the Class 4A state championship team." - change to "Ingram was utilized as the sixth man"

- "His teammate and friend, Saieed Ivey was killed in June 2016; as a memorial, Ingram had custom Nike shoes made with his jersey number, 2, on the top of the shoe, and the acronym “FINAO” — failure is not an option, one of Ivey's quotes — on the side." - this seems like a trivial detail in the grand scheme of Ingram's life and career. I would recommend removal.
- I disagree. This is a significant part of his story, and has been mentioned in several news articles on Ingram. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 15:53, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- No problem. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 16:21, 8 September 2018 (UTC)

- "Milton Doyle persuaded Ingram to come to Loyola (Illinois) after receiving a scholarship offer from Hampton." - in the first instance of the university name, you should use the full name (i.e. Hampton University). Also, the links should be to the university themselves, not their basketball team. People go to the university, and then play on the basketball team.
- Done. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 15:56, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- How did he know Milton Doyle? Please explain.
- I assume because he was a player on the team who was recruiting him. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 15:56, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- "Ingram's older brother DaJuan Gouard played for a Horizon League championship in 2002 with the Ramblers and is now a community college coach." - I am not sure this is very relevant, unless you add a "Personal life" section to the end of the article. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 14:14, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- It is relevant because it is one of the reasons he came to Loyola. I added a bit. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 15:56, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- Sounds good. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 16:21, 8 September 2018 (UTC)

- College career
- "After he returned, coach Moser said Ingram "can switch defensively on one through four, he can guard a big inside, we trap the post with him, he can knock down a 3, put it on the deck and you can post him up." - I would converting this to a block quote and remove it from the prose. It is kind of weird in the paragraph, but would be a nice highlight quote. See {{Quote box}} or similar. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 14:14, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- Added a quote box. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 16:04, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- In the stats table, please use the {{Abbr}} template for the column headings. Ryan Grant (running back) is an article that uses the template, if you are unfamiliar with it.
- SEASON and TEAM in the table don't need to be all-caps, since they aren't abbreviations.
- Please clarify a source for the table of stats by adding a note or small text underneath. Ryan Grant (running back) does this by adding a col span across the bottom of the table. Whatever works for you though.
- It would be nice to have the totals for his college career. Sports reference has them. Again, see Ryan Grant (running back) for an example. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 16:27, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- I added a standard stats table with a RealGM link. Usually, pro basketball players don't have totals in their stats sections unlike football players. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 18:06, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- Professional career
- "He finished with 13 points, four assists and two rebounds in the fourth game against the Dallas Mavericks. In five games in the Las Vegas Summer League, Ingram averaged 6.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game, shooting .312 from the field." - I would swap the order of these sentences and then revise the "He finished" part to "His best game came against the the Dallas Mavericks where he finished with 13 points, four assists and two rebounds." or something similar. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 14:14, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- Done. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 16:06, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- Images
- There is usually a strong preference for the infobox photo of a person to be a straight-on capture of the person's face. I would recommend swapping the two photos in the article, as the lower one has a better view of his face.
- I added a different image. ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 16:08, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- Awesome, looks good! « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 16:18, 8 September 2018 (UTC)

parameter. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 16:38, 8 September 2018 (UTC)- What does this mean? Could you do i? ~EDDY (talk/contribs)~ 18:06, 8 September 2018 (UTC)

- References
- Reference 1 and 20 are to the same source. When you merge them, please link RealGM. You do in one but not the other.
- All other references check out, properly cited inline and reliable. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 16:50, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- Overall
- The only copyvio concern was the direct quote, which obviously isn't a concern at all. So no copyvio concerns. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 16:30, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- Everything looks good. Nice work. Passed. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 18:49, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
