"Relationship with Jeffrey Epstein" should be "Friendship with Jeffrey Epstein"

25 or 26 sexual abuse allegations?
[edit]Intro: 'Since the 1970s, at least 26 women have publicly accused Donald Trump, of rape, kissing, and groping without consent; looking under women's skirts; and walking in on naked teenage pageant contestants.'
General overview: 'Donald Trump has been accused of rape, sexual assault, and sexual harassment, including non-consensual kissing or groping, by at least 25 women since the 1970s.'
This article counts 27: 'Stacey Williams is 27th woman to accuse Trump of sexual misconduct' - https://www.axios.com/2024/10/28/trump-sexual-misconduct-allegations-women MathewMunro (talk) 07:27, 29 November 2024 (UTC)
Is the initial image really necessary?
[edit]I propose to delete the image present in the lead, or to change it. JacktheBrown (talk) 14:54, 25 December 2024 (UTC)
- You do not say why you object to this image. It is not of good quality but it does show Trump and one of the alleged victims, so I think it has to stay unless a better image can be found. It is definitely better than nothing. To be better than this, a replacement image would need to show Trump either with one the alleged victims or with another connected person mentioned prominently in the article such as Jeffrey Epstein. My thought is to use Trump with E. Jean Carroll as the lead image, as that was the highest profile allegation, and Trump with Epstein in the section about Epstein. DanielRigal (talk) 16:07, 25 December 2024 (UTC)
- I like your idea but it should be noted that the alleged victim in question here recanted her confession in 2015. Not saying that means the entire story is bologna, but out of the dozens of allegations here, why use the one who claimed 20 years later that she had actually been lying the entire time? The image is much too inappropriate for the subject matter even if her allegations are noteworthy, especially as half the women on here can't even be verified to have ever seen Trump face-to-face meanwhile Ivana was married to Trump for over a decade... but point still stands. Ivana denied having ever been raped by Trump up until her passing in 2022, so showing a low-quality image of Trump alongside an ex-wife who denied having been raped is not worthy enough to be the initial image for this section. breakdown of accusations
[edit]The summary should breakdown the number of penis rapes, finger rapes, forced huggings, forced kissings, and other acts since the 26 claims cover a vast range of actions. Joe Farrell 01 (talk) 18:36, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
- @Joe Farrell 01: Please make an edit suggestion? The format "change X to Y" is preferred. Please add citations if required. One can reuse citations see wp:REFNAMES. Thank you Adakiko (talk) 19:15, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
