Miscount on Initial Awardees?

The text indicate that there were 12 men and women who received the initial medals, but only 10 are listed.Naraht (talk) 19:08, 20 December 2012 (UTC)

Good catch--I was working from three different sources and they don't all agree. Medal Collector and the Guide to Membership list ten initial recipients, but the online "Past Award Recipients" page includes H. E. Nutt and Paul Yoder with the 1963-65 awardees, which I counted to get twelve. I've fixed it in the article, and I'll send an email to headquarters to let them know the discrepancy. I'm afraid I'm going to have to close this review for a rather unusual reason- I'm not really sure the article is eligible for GA status. It is more of a list than an article, and so belongs at featured lists candidates. Lists like this appear at FLC an awful lot; for a couple of examples, see Silver Slugger Award and the articles in Wikipedia:Featured topics/Nebula Award. While the title of the article suggests that they are articles about awards, they're primarily just lists of winners. This article is the same. Victoria Cross (FA) would be an example of an article about an award, which would be eligible for GA status (were it not already featured). As such, I recommend sending it towards FLC, as it's not really eligible here. Regardless, here are a few pointers which may help improve the article:

It'd be nice to see some more secondary sources. It's currently based mostly upon works published by Kappa Kappa Psi.
"the Fraternity colors" Why the capital?
"Greek letters of Kappa Kappa Psi." Decap? You're not referring to the organisation itself here
"wreath, symbol of achievement." a symbol? Or perhaps "symbolising achievement"?
Don't be scared of redlinks- anyone notable on the list can be linked to whether they currently have an article or not
