One of the Few Dutch Acts?
[edit]The opening statement is curious. One of the few Dutch acts to enter the US Top 40? For a non-English-speaking country, The Netherlands has produced a remarkable number of pop artists that have entered the US charts:
- Golden Earring (Radar Love)
- Shocking Blue (Venus)
- Focus (Hocus Pocus)
- Mouth and MacNeal (How Do You Do)
- George Baker Selection (Little Green Bag, Una Paloma Blanca)
- Stars on 45 (Beatles Medley, a #1 hit; and later the Tribute to Stevie Wonder)
And these are just the ones I thought of off the top of my head. I guess I should correct it but I'm not sure what a good opening statement would be; hopefully someone will be inspired by this and fix it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Free-world (talk • contribs) 04:08, 5 October 2010 (UTC)
