Creation

Because the guy is at the center of a breaking news story, and is the co-author of a significant and controversial United Nations report.—Preceding unsigned comment added by M.S.A.Irvine (talkcontribs) 19:52, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy

[edit]

The "controversy" section was a collection of Israeli news stories which (predictably) came out against the author(s) of a report that was not uncritically in favour of Israel. I'm sorry, but that's not news and it's not neutral. To meet WP:NPOV and WP:BLP we need to have coverage of the controversy in reliable independent sources - which means not Palestinian or Israeli (or any other partisan) sources, but significant coverage in media with a reputation for at least trying to be neutral on the issue. Something like the Washington Post or The Times of London should be acceptable, I'd have said. Guy (Help!) 21:59, 4 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
